Hey there Friends!
As secretary, I just wanted to keep things updated as much as possible. I have been doing alot of work on the email list and want to
apologize to those new folks who have not received emails from me before now. And if you would rather not receive emails, please let
me know. Thank you.
Soon, we will be voting for the positions of County Commissioner, County Tax Commissioner and Coroner. Please come to our
meetings if you can, to try to get to know the candidates, and allow them to get to know you.
As you well know, this is also a presidential election year. Please, get to know the candidates as best as you can so you can make an
informed decision on who your heart and mind wants in that office and VOTE. I have added links to the candidates' websites as well as
a voting guide regarding where they each stand on the issues. Please come visit the wesite at www.townsgop.com and see the new
changes. My goal is to put more local election information on the site as well. Your ideas and feedback are appreciated.
We, as a party, are also trying to think of ideas to raise money, fellowship and become closer as a community and are contemplating a
Bar-b-Que......If you would like to be a part of this endeavour and want to share your ideas or energy, please let me or Chuck know.

Republican candidates for local and county elected government offices will qualify
with the Towns County Republican Party May 23rd to 25th at the Towns County
Court House located at 48 River Street, Hiawassee, GA 30546. Candidates are to
bring their qualifying fees and forms to the Jury Room located on the 2nd floor of
the Court House. Hours for qualifying are between 9am and 5pm May 23rd and
May 24th, and 9am to noon on May 25th.
